Chronology of cameras Anam Nikon

Anam is a South Korean industrial company in the field of electronics and semiconductors.
Lemix is a brand under which Anam manufactured cameras.
Starting from 1986, Anam assembled several models of camera bodies and Nikon lenses for the South Korean market. These camera bodies and lenses were marketed under the brands Anam Nikon or Nikon Lemix. Some models were available under both brand names.
These models were identical to those sold in the rest of the world, except for the added Anam or Lemix branding.
The serial numbers of the camera bodies and lenses were sometimes specific compared to the usual Nikon production.
In addition to the models produced in cooperation with Nikon, Anam marketed compact and bridge cameras under the Lemix brand alone.

__________

This FM2n was intended for the South Korean market, as evidenced by the Anam logo on the left side of the lens.
t is presented with a Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4 Ai-S, also of South Korean origin (the Lemix brand logo is visible just above the f/16 on the aperture ring). Both the camera body and lens bear the "Made in Japan" designation.

The Anam Nikon FM2n is more commonly found in chrome finish than in black finish. While the chrome-finished FM2n can be found with either Anam or Lemix markings, the existence of a black-finished FM2n with Lemix marking is uncertain, as it has not been spotted in South Korean stores or on second-hand equipment websites.

The four characters typically found inside the FM2n's film cartridge chamber, providing information about the month and year of production, are missing in this particular unit. This absence is also observed in two other inspected FM2n cameras (one Anam Nikon and one Nikon Lemix, both in chrome finish).
